Our courier DPD have currently suspended all road shipments to the EU (inc Ireland). They aim to start shipping again sometime around 13th Jan. Despite this the bureaucracy and form filling needed for shipments might make it too much for a small business like ours to send the EU. Also, rules of origin may well complicate things further as duty will be due on some orders where there are significant amounts of Kegland products (as they originate from outside the UK or EU). We need more time to assess whether we will ship to the EU in the future. With the current lockdown in the UK we are still really busy and don't have the time needed to look at this with the detail it needs. We really value our EU customers and we're so sorry that it has come to this. We aim to make a decision by the end of January and will post any updates here.
Thanks, Jonny BKT Owner
With a trade deal now between the EU and the UK we should be able to ship to Europe soon but due to the need for detailed customs documents with every shipment, shipping prices may need to be increased.
Currently DPD are not taking any shipments to the EU so we cannot send anything until this changes.
We really value our customers and friends in the EU so we hope to be able to send you kegging goodies as soon as possible
With no agreement between the EU and the UK over trade and because we are now closed until the new year we have had to suspend all orders made from outside the EU. We will review this in the new year.
We currently have no idea how Brexit will be implemented. We can't tell if EU customers will need to pay extra taxes or if UK customers will need to pay higher prices due to some of our stock coming from the EU.
Hopefully a trade deal will be agreed and we will see little / no change but a no-deal-Brexit will likely mean very time consuming form filling and expensive shipping costs. This may mean that it no longer makes sense to ship to the EU but we wait and hope. It will also likely mean that our reconditioned keg and ODL regulator prices will increase to UK customers.
As soon as we have any firm idea we will post updates here.
