Reconditioned 10L Corny Keg

We've changed how we categorise our reconditioned (recon) corny style 10L kegs. This is to offer better value to customers that want it. 

All our kegs are guaranteed to be gas tight, and all (apart from the inferior category) are free from welds and perished rubber (that can leave black marks on your hands and surfaces).

We sort all the reconditioned kegs we receive into categories dependent on their condition (as below). We were the first UK online seller of kegs to do this. See our video below for a (not so quick..) guide to our categories.

All our kegs are guaranteed to seal.

All our Standard and Superior grade reconditioned kegs are in great condition and rinsed / clean inside but we recommend cleaning all kegs before use (with chemclean or a similar product) to make sure that no residue it left from previous use or from the reconditioning process. 

Superior grade 10L Kegs - No welds or dents of any kind in the walls of the keg or the base. The lid is in great condition and the lid opening isn't damaged or bent. Rubber is in good condition and doesn't leave any marks on surfaces / hands.

Standard grade kegs - The same as the superior grade but with some dents to the base or the walls of the keg. These dents can range form very small to more significant but not large dents in this grade. 

Inferior grade kegs - These will have at least one of the following:

• Large Dents in the wall of the keg or rubber base or top
• Perished rubber that can leave marks on surfaces / hands
• Lid opening may have some dents (but will still seal)
• Weld(s) in keg wall leaving rough inside surfaces that can harbour possible infections  

We include a set of new O rings with every keg - most kegs have had O rings replaced with new ones, but we include a set to use if they need changing or for you to use in the future. The plastic lid feet have also been replaced where necessary.

Kegs are all branded. We have various brands: AEB, SAFER, Cornelius or other Italian or German brands. All brands are the same size.

Dimensions of 10L kegs:

340mm height

228mm diameter.

You would want a little more in height space for the disconnects - 5cm is plenty (barbed are lower/smaller than MFL with john guests). 

Duotight disconnects are even lower and would sit about 1cm above the top of the rubber.
