Released in 2012, from the Hop Research Center Hüll, Hallertau Blanc is bred from Cascade.
As the breeding suggests, Blanc offers up fruitier than typical continental hop characteristics perfect for paler styles.
The name Blanc is derived from Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety with which Blanc shares some aroma characteristics.
