NUKATAP Counter Pressure Bottle Filler

£44.95 Regular price £49.95
At BKT, we've always thought counter pressure bottle fillers were a bit of a faff... But these new models by Kegland make filling bottles without exposure to air very easy - perfect for taking oxidation sensitive beers like NEIPAs to friends.
They come with all the fittings in the first photo and can easily be attached directly to a Nukatap spout to fill beers easily and with minimal exposure to O2. You can also easily connect it via the included carbonation caps or directly to 5/16" line.

From Kegland:
This handy counter pressure bottle filler is a useful tool to fill bottles of various sizes. It fits standard beer taps and is a great way to rack off a few bottles for competition or package beer into bottles.

Easy removal of the telescopic tubing for cleaning!
The Nukatap Counter Pressure Bottle Filler is a great way to fill bottles directly from your taps without compromising your kegged beer’s flavour, aroma or carbonation levels. It's completely made from stainless steel with no aluminium or brass components. This enables you to use a wide range of chemicals for cleaning this device without the risk of damaging the device or accessories.

Its very compact and and will fit any tap with 10.0 mm inner diameter spout/nozzle.  We also supply other accessories so you can attach a beer line to this unit for other filling methods too.  To use this device simply connect CO2 gas line to the filling unit and away you go.

The integrated counter pressure relief valve gives you good control of the counter pressure and thus the filling speed. How fast the bottle can be filled without too much foaming depends on CO2 level, beer temperature and bottle temperature.

This cannot be used with taps with a vent hole but will fit pretty much all forward sealing taps on the market such as the Nukatap SS, Nukatap FC, Perlick and other brands.

This unit comes complete with wide range of accessories sincluding carbonation cap so you can quick disconnect your beer line, duotights so you can fit a beer line to the unit and other usefull fittings you might need.

Brewing frequently asked questions

How long does it take to brew beer?

The time it takes to brew beer can vary, but on average, the process takes about 4 to 6 weeks. This includes the various stages such as malting, mashing, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and bottling. However, some beer styles may require longer aging periods for optimal flavor development.

Is home brewing worth it?

Many people find home brewing to be a rewarding and enjoyable hobby, allowing them to create unique and customised beers. It provides a deeper understanding of the brewing process and offers the opportunity to experiment with different ingredients and styles. Additionally, home brewing can be cost-effective in the long run compared to purchasing craft beers. However, it requires time, effort, and a certain level of commitment. Whether it's worth it ultimately depends on one's passion for brewing and the satisfaction derived from the process and the end product.

Is home brewing legal?

Home brewing for personal use is generally legal, and there is no need for a specific license as long as certain conditions are met. Home brewers are allowed to produce beer, wine, and cider for personal consumption. However, there are limits on the amount that can be brewed without a license. As of January 2022, the limits were 100 litres for beer and 100 litres for wine per household.

It's important to stay informed about any updates or changes in the regulations, so it's advisable to check with local authorities or brewing associations for the most current information regarding home brewing laws in the UK. Always ensure that you comply with the relevant regulations and guidelines to enjoy home brewing within the legal framework.
